Threw together this video last night of most of the runs with the blue car from a few months ago. Nothing really spectacular, just some WOT data collection. So I didn't launch the car or shift it hard..... waiting to do that once the tune is decent. :)

The purpose for this was to further tweak the MAF sensor, and check some other things out. Also, just to see how it responds in general. This was the first time I've gotten some clean runs with no breaking up in the higher rpms.

However, the car was trapping speeds of 106MPH on several occasions. This really thrilled (and surprised)me, since I wasn't driving it all that hard! Can't wait to actually tune it now and get back out there!

Some basic stats:
-Evo3-16g/Evo3 exhaust manifold
-ETS FIMC
-3" GM MAF (this was a pain in the a$$ to get right... but finally think it's there!)
-Megan 3" Dp, Thermal RD 3" exhaust
-DSMlink V3, AEM WB
-255 pump, 650cc inj.

Running 17psi, 7º of timing up top, 93 octane.

Thanks! It was kinda fun, as when tuning, you tend to be all over the map with times. So I was confusing the people in the tower since the car's MPH's range was low 13-high 12 range, yet sometimes I'd be running 14.0, 14.2, 13.9, 13.7, 13.5....ect. Thus they never kicked me off for no helmet... just gave me weird looks. :)

Car really liked the 106MPH, though. Must have hit that time at least 4 times. It's always kinda amusing how your ET's can be all over, but the MPH can remain steady.

Work on the launch and it'll hit 12's. any plans on using DSM Link, or an ignition box to help outta the hole? Good job;) especially tuning on the fly:)

Thanks! :)

Yeah, I'm planning on setting up the 2-step using DSMlink. I'd be really pleased to get an actual 12-sec timeslip, so we'll see how it goes in the next few months. Planning on swapping the evo exhaust mani for a FP one. However, looking to get that ceramic coated beforehand. Also have to install new turbo lines to fix an oil leak. Then it should be good to go again. So for now, it'll live a babied life.

Yeah, it's defiantly nice to be able to run the car out to over 100mph without having to also look out for traffic and cops. ;)

Great Lakes Dragaway is not the prettiest tracks, but they do do a nice job with prep and cleanup, so not a bad place to go for some test/tunes. Typically can get as many runs in as you want, too. :)

The goal is to get this car ready for the shootout in August. Would REALLY like to make an appearance there this year...... with a car! So we'll see...
