So finally got the set-up to run solid, and the trans is still shot. But first run off the trailer was a 10.71@133 and I let off at about 7/8th track mark.(Ive never been to this track). I almost shit. The best I ever got out the car on this set-up was a 12.74 on pump gas, I love E85. Second run was a 11.16@133(I missed second gear). Thrid run was a 10.77@129.(Spun through 2nd gear). Forth run was a 12.41@128(Missed second and third gear LOL).The last run was a 10.75@137(Solid run WOW look at that MPH). Heres the first and last run and Ill post time slips in a few.

So I have the Hx40 record, and you have the Hx35 record!!! Nice..:hellyeah: Your in 2nd for quickest holset powerd DSM also!

Good job! Care to give any specs on the setup during these runs? boost level, weight of the car, nitrous, tires, all that good stuff.

I shouldn't be too far off from that time my next time at the track.

Thanks guys. I like being the leader in something LOL. Boost level is as high as it goes with no line to wastegate actuator LOL, its about 37psi. Weight is unknown its still has full interior - trunk junk. No nitrous just E85. Street tires 245/40-17 dunlop direzza z1 star specs.
 
Link V3 and 1650cc blue max injectors. P.S. First gear is full of wheel hop and no traction. I think I could drop a couple tenths just on slicks. The best 60 ft. I can get is 1.6.

LOL. Im 24. When I was 16 I stole my dads laser and then his tuners account, and ive been into this dsm thing ever since.
 
DAMN!!! my buddy on an HX-35 went 11.3 @ 121 i believe on e85. He just got the JMF drag IM too and is doing a bit of tweaking with the tune on link so he can make it in the 10's. Congrats for sure! that thing flies

That 137mph trap speed impresses me even more than the 10-second timeslip does....you DO realize a 137 trap speed is a low 10 with some traction and a good 60ft, correct? How is it even possible that a $200 Dodge diesel turbo can trap almost 140mph on a DSM!?! Better yet, how is it even possible that the general population STILL hates these turbochargers?!?

Im very excited. Like I said my best run was right off the trailer. So theres definitly room for driver improvment. I tuned this car in about 20 mins. Got to love link. First gear is a shit hole, but as soon as I hit second its on LOL. Im getting some serious wheel hop in the rear in first. Im worried it will break an axle if it continues. What do you suggest? Stiffing up the rear struts and drop the air pressure alittle more?
 
Do you have an open center diff or is it welded?

A local 9-second 2G driver claims no wheel hop on street tires with his car, and one of his tips is to put cables from the front control arms to the body at the standard ride height to keep the front end from lifting too high during a launch. He also has open front, center, and rear differentials....claims it's the ticket to fewer broken driveline parts. ;)

You cut a 1.66 60ft on that 137mph run....your worst of the day was only a 1.71. That's an admirable feat on street tires, especially in the colder temps when the track isn't warm. Great job getting the car out of the hole! What was your air pressure on all four corners?


We might've talked about this prior, but you're running the T3 open manifold mated to your divided 12cm turbine housing, correct? If so, did you do anything to the divided housing at all as far as chamfering the edges or port-matching it to the gasket?
 
Its all stock 90 driveline -the 4-bolt lsd rearend, billet drive shaft bushings and avidracing billet motor mounts. It is an open manifold to divided T3 12cm stock housing, all I did to the housing was knife edge the divider, bead blast and paint with grill paint. Its a 7-blade hx-35. I am running 22psi in the front and 20psi in the rear.
