Can anyone critique my track time?

I went to race the 1/8th mile track yesterday and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I did. I have 92 Talon AWD and my mods are a 2100 ACT clutch, Joe P boost controller set at 15psi, and a dejon intake. 93 octane all the way...

My best slip:
Reaction = .555
60 footer = 2.026 (I didn't break into the 1's today  )
330 ft = 6.013
ET@594ft = 8.719
1/8 mile = 9.329
1.8 MPH = 73.87 (I actually pulled a 74MPH later on but it was a crappy 1/8th mile time)

Thanks.

first, Boondock Saints is my favorite movie!!!!!!!!!;)

second, congrats on the 9.3. that means you are in good tune.
that is a 14.7@92 in the 1/4 territory.
do you have a test pipe?
what did you launch at?
slip or dump?

NO exhaust mods (It's killing me; I can't wait for the W-2 forms)

And I slip. If I dump I know I could have pulled a 1.9 off and maybe gotten a 9.1....but I can't afford the damage right now. I've actually pulled a 1.91 last time I went to the track with my stock clutch; that I blew out the same night. So I guess I just have to get use to it.

Exhaust will help on your car A LOT. I ran a 9.396@71 in stock form. I also got a 2.0 60' (and I was slipping too, when I dumped, the car bogged too much and I only mustered a best of 2.1). Check out my timeslip, it's very similar to yours :thumb:

That was on 8psi (boost leak) w/93 octane, a K&N filter, and with a new stock engine & tranny. I also had crappy tires & I was at a crappy track, which actually really helped out on the launch (stock clutch & off-brand tires).

Overall, your time is pretty good, & you had a few mph on me too. I see some 8 second passes coming very soon from ya :thumb:
