Went out to Woodburn Drag Strip today and tested out my conservative e85 tune I use on my dd :) Besides the fact that my wife video tapes like someone is shaking her arms the vids aren't too bad...

I had a slim fan fall off on my third run towards the end and my coolant overflow tank burst open with coolant somehow... not sure how that happend...
All of these runs were with lift shifting and no traction on the launches :(

I ran 5 11.3's all close to each other and a couple 11.5's but was having cooling issues :(
The other vids were really shaky... haha

Looks pretty good but that def sucks that your fan fell off. Radiator cap sticking was prob the culprit of the coolant overflow blowing up, I'd check it out and make sure its still in decent shape. What kind of and size of tires are you running? Just curious cause sometime next month I will be picking up a new set. Tha RT615s are looking promising at the moment

I don't remember exactly, they are the MA-V1's from Les Schwab.

on stock 7 bolt and stock tranny that shows me I dont need to go all out on the engine or tranny to have a nice street/drag car. I have seen some cars profile's here in dsmtuners with 2.3 stroker or fully built engines that have similar time's as you LOL thats the type of build I want to do.:thumb:

I have been having trouble getting the logs off of my hp that I tune with and onto my mac then onto the internet. My hp doesn't connect to the internet so I have tried memory sticking a log and loading it up and that hasn't worked either. Anyway I can tell you all a few things...

I hit about 29 psi then by the end of the gear I am dropping down to about 23 psi.

My idc at 7k is about 99% and sometimes lower 90's.

My coolant temps are about 210 sometimes a little higher.

Pushing between 43-47 lbs of air depending on the gear.

So going over my log for the first time since running yesterday I have noted that I have a lot of work to do. I need bigger injectors (possibly another pump), boost leak test, get my temps down, taking a/c out, remounting fans to fit flush, ect...

It would be nice to have an external gate as well but I was hoping to wait on that till I go to a bigger turbo setup when I build my motor down the road... Oh how slow building cars goes when your a married, 21 year old college kid ;)

I believe going to an external gate will greatly help my boost issue...

29 dropping to 23? Are you saying a EWG will fix this? Never heard of a 50T doing this.
And at what RPM did you hit full boost?
Nice passes!

Well I don't think it would hurt ;)

I hit full boost at about 3800.

Thanks, I slam those gears as hard as I can w/out using nlts.

Again, wonderful power you're pushing out for a super fun DD. Tell me, is she a blast on the streets? Not much out there should be able to touch you.

Damn me for going with a E316G just to try to hit 11.9 at its maximum.

I have my fun on the interstate every now and then, I try not to break to many laws :)

BEAUTIFUL RUNS! Just to throw it in there, I have the same issues with my PTE 5031RE as well (30psi dropping to about 25psi) AND I'm on a 38mm external gate off of the o2. I've since convinced myself it is due to the small turbine housing of the mitsu breed, since I haven't figured out any other reasoning behind it.
