Hi all! This is Bill from Showdown Motorsports. Just finished a customer's car from Alabama. Took it to the track to do some tuning and make sure it went straight. To our amazement, 3rd pass down the track, the car went 9.8 at an amazing 157mph. The 60ft. was a 1.8 and I short shifed into 2nd, did not want to launch the car, since its not mine. This was also done with our new street stripped intake, that is why I was amazed at the mph. This car should go in the bottom 9's or high 8's, on a good pass. We will attach a video. If you have any questions, let us know.
Good luck Jerry with your new ride. Bill Showdown Motorsports
My wife was the one screaming and taking the video, she gets way to excited!!!! The car has a 2.0 with our head and intake, engine managment is all Aem.A/F is 11.8,AR on the hot side is 1.15,also run a shep stage 4 trans with a quartermaster clutch. Thanks Bill
CBR coils, we have been running them for years. Never had a problem with a misfire. A few weeks ago, I went 1.21 on a mis-shift, and hit 15k, and it never misfired once.
I Am biulding a galant with the same set-up to be daily driven. Should be a hell of a street car. I dont think it will be any problem driving it on the street. I took the pink car to the carry out to get milk with no problem!!!! Lucky no police where around. Thanks Bill
lol your wife got exited, wish my would do that i get the usual "what does that part do?' "you better not be speeding" or my favorite first time she drove it "wow this little thing is faster than my volvo xc70!"
