10.1@139 with a FP3065 91 Eclipse E85

So this weekend we had a BOTI event and my wife wanted to run. So I let her run the EVO and I ran Rob Hanson's Eclipse (Used to be Jeff Bush car) At the moment it has the nick name the Turd since its so uggly . Rob hopes to have paint on it soon.

I felt like 10.1@139 was pritty good for a 3065. I did have one pass with a 142mph trap. I have cut a 1.4 60ft in the car but on the next pass broke a yoke. Since there was about $1000 on the line if I win the Event which I did. I wanted to make sure the car would stay in one peace. So I am quite sure with a 1.4 60ft it could get a 9.9.

This car was very fun to drive and spooled very fast. Was real easy to drive.

The specs

-91 Eclipse AWD
-2950 with me in it
-FP3065
-DNP manifold
-FP 3in O2 with WG routed back in
-English Racing 3in turbo back exhaust
-DSM link with 3in MAFT blow through
-255hp intank and a 255hp in line
-1600cc injectors
-E85 fuel
-34psi
-Extreme Turbo Systems Intercooler
-stock size SS valves, Kiggly valve springs, head ported by Jeff Bush
-FP2 cams
-JMF intake mani
-English Racing built 2.0 going on 3 season now 9:1comp
-English Racing built trans dbl 3/4 and welded diff
-QM Twin disc clutch

Here is our English Racing vid from the weekend our evo got is 1st 8.9 this weekend.

Hmmm... I though bigger injectors a require to run straight E85 for a fp3065.

1600s seem to be good for close to 600whp on a stock ECU and closer to 700whp with a driver box.

I still cannot believe that I got 2nd place in the Street Tuner class. It just sucks I had to race Lucas in the finals... (I'm the red 94 1G) I also had a personal best on that run!

SO MUCH FUN!!

Here was the timeslip for the two of us on that run:

That to me is most impressive.

I was running about 23-24psi on that run on E85 with a 5500rpm 2-step. It wasn't a horrible tune on DSMLink, but it wasn't great because I didn't have a ton of time to tweak it before the event. I still think I had a good run.

You can look at my modlist to see what I have on the car...
