Custom Rollbar Installed in the Talon

We've just finished up the custom rollbar in the Talon. It is a 5-point 4130 chromoly rollbar. The bare minimum for NHRA requirements and the use of chromoly allowed thinner wall, lighter tubing to be used. We also finally got to use out tubing bender and tubing notcher. I like how you're welding on a can of racing fuel with the words Flammable emblazoned on the side.

How are you guys attaching that brace to that seat? I've got the Corbeau Forza which is a tubular seat and can't figure out a good way to do it without slicing up the material.

Why even put the rear seat in? its just added weight as no one can fit back there.

2nd that.

The rear seat makes things look better, and weighs little. No back seat = race car. Back seat = street car. Until it makes a pass, then it's a fast street car!

These are Sparco Fighter seats that are fiberglass, so we just put a button head bolt through them with a large washer and a nut on the back. Beneath the fabric and padding, you cannot tell they ar there. IT did stiffen up the mounting a lot.

Well I was just curious I would love to have you build me one as you guys look like you know what your doing but I'm a 2g
