First of all my mods are: Greddy EVO exhaust, Greddy intercooler piping, Greddy BOV, K&N air filter, and MBC set to 15-16psi. It was about 85 degrees (only down south is it that hot a few days before christmas!) with almost 70% humidity, so it wasn't the ideal conditions, but oh well. This track is in much worse condition than the other 1/8th mile strip in mobile but that one was closed today so I had no choice. Anyway, enough of my excuses, here is my best run.
(Yes, this track measures 0-60, so that isn't a mistake in how I read it)
Reaction time= .520
60 foot time = 2.386
0-60mph = 6.489
1/8th mile E.T. = 9.848
1/8th mile Mph = 74.362
I was spinning tires almost all the way up the track, and judging by my mph i should be running mid to low 9s according to what i have seen other GS-Ts and Spyders running. I found that I got my best launch by slipping the clutch from about 3k rpms. I am open to any constructive criticism that might help me about launching techniques. I know I still need practice, but this was my first time at the track, so don't go overboard about my crappy 60 foot times! It was still good enough to repeatedly stomp my friends Honda Prelude with every possible bolt on and a custom exhaust, his best run of the day was a 10.5 at this crappy track, and he ran a 9.6 at the track in mobile, so I expect my time to be as much as a second faster when I get to go to the better track. I'll give everybody an update when i have a chance to go there. I will try to post the timeslip when I get a chance.

! Good luck, Jake
Yes, this is a really crappy track, not quite to the extent that you described, but it is crap nonetheless. My friend has consistently pulled mid 10s with his prelude at this track, but also consistently pulls between 9.6 and 10.0 at the track in Mobile. Maybe that is all a big coincidence, but when it turns out time after time like this, that tells you something. A couple of things that may contribute to it are also that the track in Atmore is used by 90% drag cars who leave loads of oil, rubber, and no telling what else on the surface, and they have a water pit that you have to drive through before you get to the line. The track in Mobile is used by mostly street legal cars so it probably stays cleaner. All I know is that with the trap speed I was pulling I should be able to pull mid to low 9s instead of a best run of 9.8.
