Well i went to the local drag strip tonight , staged up and lights came down launched . KLUNK!! then i see smoke rolling past me and realized hell i was fwd now , what the hell did i #### up this time! hit second gear , smoke rolling fromt he tires again ive got video i will post it , its really funny accually 6k studder box to a fwd launch on fuzion ZRi's you could only expect, damn it was an 11 second pass too.. im so mad at my car right now i looked under the rear end and i saw the drivers side axle was kinda sticking out of the rear end and the bearing was blowed out , video of that as well.. "sigh" what can you do.

same thing happened to me. Same axle and same spot. Still ran a 14.1 at 101 after I let of and made sure everything was ok.

I did the exact thing too, I went 14.7 @ 107 haha. I never let out of it, I was so pissed.

I had no friggen clue what had happened. I thought it was a backfire because it was the loudest bang I have ever heard. So I pulled it out of gear and made sure they were all there and tapped the throttle. All was good so I took off. Went out after it cooled and tested it and was roasting the tires Still thought I snapped the input shaft for my transfer case (welded diff will still drive) so I tried to drive home. Made it half way and the axle started wobbling. Had my girl with me so I decided a tow was better than putting her at risk. All in all a fun experience.
