Well I remember reading somewhere that setting up your shocks to different setting in the front and in the rear will give you better traction... Now is it stiffer in the front and soft in the rear? Or is it soft in the front and stiff in the rear. Oh BTW im in a FWD ;)

Yea softer in the front and stiffer in the rear. If your racing I would also lower the psi in the front tires to like 22psi or so.

I wouldnt run anything under 20psi on street tires. If you slicks than yea 16-18psi but thats just my opinion:D

I'll agree, it also makes the drive to a petrol station afterwards scarry.

I am telling you guys, all the fast cars are running very low tire pressure on street tires...

I had my RA1 Toyo tires as low as 14-15psi and their stiff sidewall barely looked low at all. A more typical formula 255/50/16 tires is 18psi in the front and 16psi in the rear.

But what makes matters even worse, is that some guys race on re-tread tires... Now, that I think, is asking for trouble. Those re-tread can separate on normal cars at 70 mph, never mid 600 whp at 130mph...
