Short version:
I drove 150 miles, ran 11.22 at 127.9, killed an R6 on the freeway, drove home 150 miles. No backup vehicle. No tools in the car, not even a screwdriver.
Timing was at 3 degrees.
Car has a stock intake manifold.
Shifted at 7k.
novel version:
I haven't had a laptop to tune with in a month and just changed my setup, I had 1hr to tune on pumpgas and get my fuel map dialed in, I scrambled like hell to get something resembling a decent state of tune in.
Got to yakima around 5:30. Threw in C16 and left the house at 5:50 (tech ends at 7). Did a couple pulls, turned the boost up to 29, made sure it wasn't running lean, left TIMING ADVANCE AT 3 DEGREES.
Rush to the track. Go through tech, deflate tires.
60' 1.72 1.70 1.72 1.98
330 4.87 5.01 4.87 5.34
1/8 7.33 7.55 7.39 7.88
mph 97.58 94.54 96.2 96.81
1000 9.46 9.743 9.57 10.05
1/4 11.22 11.52 11.39 11.83
mph 127.96 125.61 120.85 126.45
On the third and fourth passes it was dark and my dash lights went out, so I was running with no tach. The shiftlight was on in 4th for a while so I decided to shift to 5th for fear of hitting the revlimiter. Obviously that was stupid, 7mph GONE.
The last pass the track cooled off and turned to ice, I hit the rev limiter three times in 1st just spinning the tires. There is some great footage of me shooting flames three times
When we were leaving Shari's after eating some kid with an R6 wanted to race me. I still had C16 in the car, so I told him lets race on the freeway. I pulled on him by multiple car lengths, repeatidly.
Car is still daily driven, it's lightened a little bit, race weight is just shy of 3100. It actually has a real stereo in it, a bunch of sound deadening too. The AC and power steering are gone though.
I'm really happy with the times for the crappy state of tune, with more boost/timing, a new intake manifold, and higher revs it has a lot of room for improvement.

That would be a E55 AMG, not a 1G DSM.
