I am just starting this post to see what all the second generation FWD turbo eclipses are running at the track. Most all of the posted times i keep finding are for AWD models. Stock 2nd gen GS-t eclipses are supposedly running about 15 seconds flat stock according to most magazines that i have looked at. I know that they are using professional drivers for these magazines, but i can't understand why people on here with FWD turbos are saying they are having a hard time pulling even mid 15s on their modded cars? So anyway, all you FWD GS-T eclipses please post rather you are spyder or not, and what your track times and mods are, thanks.

i ran a 13.90@106 thats with a 2.35 60' time mods are to many to list..
car dyno's at 341 so i know the times are slow...

Were you on slicks to run a 14.1@97? Thats some damn good driving what kind of suspension/tires you running?

-Taylor

Taylorspl ~ The suspension is stock and I have street tires...Nitto Extreme Performance 215 40 R17. Not very good tires for racing. The key to front wheel drive is that fine line between spin and no spin. I have an auto so its a little easier to not spin. I could launch at 6psi and hook...7 and I baste the tires :) That run I got a 2.112 60' which accounted for the good ET I think.

RedTurboEclipse ~ I had every mod on my list except for the FMIC. I haven't been to the track yet with the L2R, waiting on a AFPR to come in the mail.

[email protected], 2.234 60' w/ t25 set at 1.3bar(18-19psi), intake, i/c piping, type s bov, crappy 2.5" cat-back, fp, and GC coil-over w/ tokico shocks using 93 oct. on factory 16's. My best ET so far. I ran 14.7@95mph with just a filter:)
Going Friday to see what my current set-up will do. Pray for cause now I'm on 18's w/ 40s tires:laugh:

hey when you ran the 13.9 was that the night you broke your axle?-- yea, 2 runs later I got so much wheel hop that I broke my differential(not axle) and sent teeth through my belt housing and into my clutch:cry: I still ran a 14.2@ 98mph. But I fix that problem with a Quaife, Raxle axles, and a ACT 2600;)

Not too bad, you'll have to let me know what your running with your new setup whenever you find out since we both have the exact same car. All we have anywhere close to where i live is 1/8th mile tracks, the nearest 1/4 mile i know of is in montgomery, which is about 2 to 3 hours away.

Larry I'm beginning to think your car is stuck at 109 LOL. Didn't you run a 109 trap with the Big28. Nice ET though. What was your 60ft time on that run?

Greddy: I feel you on the track thing. The closest tracks are over an hour away (the good tracks are even farther). If it doesn't snow before Dec. 14 I'll be going to Cecil County. I'll post my times and some vids if I can swing it.
