1/8 mile time WTF!!

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

Something doesn't seem right.

66mph at the 1/8 doesn't equate into a 9.2----you are looking at 72-76mph area

also a 2.0 60' doesn't eqaute into a 66mph 1/8---it would or should be higher

Reaction means nothing in straight up MPH/Time unless you are bracket racing.

Do you have the complete slip. Maybe something is wrong with the car. Loss of power at the 2-3 change or something. Post up the slip.

Just to let you know, I am not calling BS. I don't care what or when you run a time. It is your personal thing. I just am wondering how those times/mph are showing up. :thumb:

yeah, that is a really low mph for the time.

And a pretty low 60' for a stock GS-T. ;)

Unless there are other factors. More things are coming into play than just those 2-3 mods.

Example:

2G GS-T

2.00 60' 9.2 1/8 is around 75mph and this is with an AWD. A GS-T with that sort of 60' should be 1-3 mph faster. I do NOT see were he could have gotten 66mph from that unless there is a bucking or pulled timing so harsh it is noticeable.

Flip side:

66mph at 1/8 is around 10.2/10.8 and is a 16sec 1/4 run.

Something is wrong or the driving/shifting is off.

That is your time from the list and the top one. Something is wrong with your driving (not a personal attack) or they device used to record those numbers is wacked out. :D

See what I am getting at.

1+1 is not equaling 2 is all.

yeah I ran a 9.4@54 mph once. Intercooler pipe came off before half track. ;)

That does seem pretty weird, here's one of my timeslips for comparison.

Fwd on street radials, springs, 18psi through a 14b. As you can see blown shocks , an unsprung puck clutch, and stock sized Eagle RSA's suck for launching a car.
