SOCAL Racetracks, where are they?

Here in SD, our pathetic excuse for a "track" is an 1/8 mile at Qualcom stadium that is scoped out by cops who will pull over anyone who looked too fast on the drag. I don't really know where any strips are except Pomona, and i have no idea where there's a road course around here. Any socal racers out there want to let me in on some info? also, where can i get a list of SCCA class regulations?

Theres also California Speedway in Fontana (1/4mile track) and Irwindale Speedway (1/8 mile track).

San Diego has a pretty big DSM Scene...Im running low 12's, theres about 5 of us in the 12's and 2 in the 11's. We have alot of meets and hang out alot...get on socal.dsm.org and get on the list.

Qaulcom is fun neways, Ill be out looking for an 8.1 on pump gas this friday.

Is the 1/4 mile track in Carlsbad still open? It was when I lived there, and that was just earlier this year.

And yeah, get on the SoCal DSM list, it's great.

yah it's open every saturday from 1 to 6 unless it rains. Theres gonna be a big battle there on the Dec 7 between some of the top teams in SD. SRK, Sendicate, EVOL, Powerspeed, and Veratec are bring out the fast car. I'll be there, most likely I'll be racing more then watching. It would be cool to see more DSM there.

Man,thats suprising. I visit freinds of mine in Oceanside every year,and while Im out there we do plenty of driving around. I havent seen a even a stock DSM,much less a modded one,thats cool that there is a scene (they've been trying to get me to move.... The only one Ive ever seen out there was at a VW vs. Import race at Carlsbad,and there was only one DSM,a maroon Laser.

Well, I know that we finally had a meeting of the San Diego "chapter" of SoCal DSM in May, and we had 16-17 cars there. In the attached picture, you can see most of the 2Gs and a couple GVR4s. All the 1G guys for some reason parked in a different spot...
