In the interest furthering Ludachris's vision for the race inspired tuners.com, I really want to participate in some sanctioned bracket racing and the like, for fun in the summer.

(up until now I have only ran on open track days)

Might as well, right?

Well, I was also considering selling my GST for an AWD. Now, is it just me, or are there very few events where you can run AWD? Like a general sportsman series, or even at like a NOPI event? So is this a reason to keep my FWD, because I would love to if I can find justification?

What are your guy's experiences with AWD racing?

what makes you think AWD cars can't compete at NOPI? AWD cars are usually just thrown in with the RWD cars.

Thats what I am asking.

Can AWD run with RWD in all events?

Go to the sanctioning bodies site and download the rule book... I'm probably looking at NHRA Sport Compact Modified..

For most of the classes, that is the case. But double check to see if there are any weight penalties or tire restrictions.

Just check the rulebook for whatever class you're looking to get into. :thumb:
