Not reviving an ancient dead thread. However, you can take HRP off the list. As of April, 2006 HRP is closed indefinitely. The ownership refused to renew the lease and the state rejected the tax credit that would have seen a new track built by the operators of HRP. No legal racing whatsoever in Honolulu. What the fu(k is this world coming to when a city of over 40,000 modified cars has no legal racing venue. The best part is, the state has launched a program of ultra-stiff enforcement of "illegal" modifications that violate the state "Reconstructed Vehicle" stautes.
Sounds to me like car enthusiasts are becoming targeted even more so then before and our pursuits are being limited severely by an uncaring legislature. What a beautiful place to be; next time they can get rid of the skate parks and dog parks etc... etc... and start over enforcing bullshit laws to boost revenues from a sickeningly PC platform. Oh well, thus ends the rant... Fu(k em'
