Hi,

I just got back from Bandimere here in Colorado. 5800Ft. :) I blew my t2small and needed to put something else on. I picked up a 14B in good condition for a 100 bucks. So, now I have the mods in my profile with the turbo being my newest mod. I could not afford anything more and everything is used except for the clutch and intake. The tires are also old and that will probably be my next purchase, maybe UIPs too. I also did everything in my garage without tuning. Anyway, I went out tonight and this is what I got.

60' - 1.955
330' - 5.828
1/8 - 9.147
mph - 74.72
1000' - 11.984
1/4 - 14.399
mph - 93.06

That was at 15.5PSi. Not the greatest, but I don't even have an exhaust. So I am feeling a bit happy, especially for this altitude. The temp was 78 degrees. Oh, by the way the other lane contained a sliver 2002 Corvette, driven by a man that was smirking at me. He ran a 14.7. I won.I beat him threw everything except the mph, which was 4 mph faster.

after the race did u tell him your car cost 1/5 of his hahaha :D

eh must be a big difference with that altitude

i have ran a best of 14.7 with a bone stock 2g awd
my friend has cracked a 14.6 with a better 60' - bone stock

Yeah the altitude makes a huge difference on our times. I have heard the turbo cars aren't as affected, but are alot still. A few of my friends have run about a half second to even almost a full second faster in Las Vegas. Vipers up here run on average a 13.8. Z06s run around 13.8. Camaro SS's (LS1) Run 15's. An NSX ran a 15.7 last night. Force induction cars do a little better. 2003 Cobra's are running around 13.8 - 14. EVO 8's I think are running around 14.2 SRT-4's are running 14.6 or so. So at sea level I may run a 13.8 or so, but I can't say for sure cause I haven't tried it.

Yeah, doesn't make you mad?!! What was your 1/4 mile time with the T25?

damn that sucks

the odd factory fluke LS1 M6 around my area (500ft) will crack a high 12 stock LOL

...excuse me? A turbo car will be affected even more. You completely made up those times as well. You're telling me a viper is 2 seconds slower than it should be while an evo is maybe 3 tenths off what I see most run?

Vipers have 500hp stock, thats alota power to put down if your not used to it. I see guys at my track running 13.6 with a fully set up 1g "pte60trim" while my buddies car ran 11.7. He could be spining bad and missing gears, or granny shifting so he doesn't tear the tranny out of his $80,000 + car. Its not like you can go on vipertrader.com and pick up a 100k mile tranny for a viper for $300 like a dsm.

There are some LS1's doing high12's bone stock and a few zo6's have cracked a very high 11 bone stock. Sick but true.

the ls1 f bod 12s i can believe cause i've seen it on a very cold night with the highest pressure i've ever seen on a timeslip....but the 11's i dunno bout that

ls1's can go high 12's. I've seen it done many times. A bone stock zo6 can go high 11's I've also seen that. The only car I've never seen do what its claimed to is an evo.

Vipers have 325's in the rear stock. They hook hard. It would take effort to drive a viper to a 13.80. Nobody granny shifts a viper, they have the best 6 spd money can buy.

Sorry, my viper knowlege is lacking but Ls1 is not.
The Zo6's have run high 11's bone stock. Don't confuse the zo6 engine with the ls1. While similar, the zo6 has an LS6 engine, better intake, cam, mass air etc. The list goes on. THe new LS2 engine will share some of the LS6 parts.

No sh!t the altitude up here sucks but it's no big deal. Hey AWDer I am in Colorado too lets meet up and find some ZO6's to mess with! :thumb:
