I ran today 3 times at the race track and i am so pissed at my peace of SHi#$ car. I guess if i don't do the 2.4L swap on this Cr@#$ I GUESS I will get a Turbo eclipse. ( I like eclipses a lot)

Damn I hate this car!!! (but i love it in some how)

Hey guys Do u think i am having problems with the engine?

I wanted to be at least in the high 16's!
but no! I guess i have to set my adjustable cam gears because i started good ahead of the other people. 1st against tomeek (95gs-t), second (02 honda si ) stock, 3rd (02 acura rxs-?)stock . BTW check the times, because it is desorganized (the middle one first, them the left one and the last one is on the right).
So like i said, i started good but in the end they catch up to my in by third gear! I guess I should test my car on the dyno and check the compression of the engine again. I think that something is going on with the adjustable cam gear i am losing the power after 3rd gear. there is when they pass me! I am killing myself this day to figure out that.
What a bad day!

I went last night. I made 2 runs and it got it got dark so I couldnt run again cuz im night blind. Here goes dont lauph this was my first time running at the track.

My first run i made 17.8, I bogged the launch and mishifted 3rd.
Oh yea only weight reduction is complete removal of A/C system and no spare tire, but I did have my sub/box/amp all in the trunk. I wanna go back for revenge damnit my time sucked. 91 octane gas with a can of octane booster in it. I prolly shouldnt have filled it up at the time But whatever I'll go back sometime soon

Those look like my times, and I have a 14b at 18 psi and all the goodies . Dont feel bad at all. My 60ft was no better than a 2.6 . Practice is the key..!

I;d be happy with low 16's, then again your pretty modded, you shoulda broke into the 15's. practice makes perfect.

I'd be happy with that on my car, what were your shifting points? I redlined 1/2/3 and I was done at the end of third at 76mph Next time Im gonna try shifting at 6k

I was shifting at around 7k but spun bad through first and second my first pass at the track was 16.3 but on that run when i went into second i lost grip and went to redline and kept it WOT till i finally caught i was running a tiburon gt 6 speed he couldnt drive or something because he ran a 16.4

Hmmm, When I took off I maybe dropped at about 1200, So I wouldnt spin, its barely spun and lurched forward, I wonder where I should be shifting at, I know my cars faster than 17.1

theirs people running faster 60 ft than me but running alot slower so i know my car can hit 15's with a good run. Next time at the track im gonna rev up to 4k and feather the gas to launch and not go WOT till my tires catch because on my runs i went WOT off the line and spun bad.

Hey dont be so upset. My best first runs with my 95 rs was a 17.5. Next time I went, I ran a 16.7 with no upgrades or mods. It looks like your 60' is decent for a NA so I say maybe work on your shifting, one thing i did was shifted fast without letting my foot off the gas, try that next time.

That could be my problem my tranny is almost finished, its been due for rebuild ever since i put the POS in the car. I still shift it hard and fast when I want, but its grindin and notchy as hell :thumbdown
