Went to the track last night with 5 gallons of C10 mixed with a couple gallons of 91 oct.
I datalogged with the gas and set my MBC to 16psi with less than ten counts of knock and timing advance dropped to 16*. Aside from the gas and MBC all I have is a K&N filter.
Track altitude is about 4850 ft.
my first run...i got really lucky on that light
RT .505
60' 2.7
330' 7.2
1/8 mph 73.6
1/8 ET 10.6
1/4 mph 94.3
1/4 ET 15.9

my best run
RT .526
60' 2.6
330' 6.9
1/8 mph 74.2
1/8 ET 10.3
1/4 mph 92.7
1/4 ET 15.5

I had one run where I redlighted but trapped @ 95mph....i'm happy with the results for now...i was running .2-.5 seconds faster 4.6 Mustang GTs! :D

I'm FWD and I was launching around 3500 to 3800 rpm- i'd either bog, spin or slip the clutch or all 3 in one run :thumbdown
With some better launches are my MPHs high enough for 14.9s @ 4850 ft above sea level?

i would think u would be in the 14's i ran a 2.5 on the 60 on a blown turbo and a slipping clutch :/ Also what do you mean redlight doesnt affect your ETS? so in other words reaction times have nothing to do with your time in the end? it just shows how responsive you are?

yep :)

Reaction time has NO effect on final ET.

Keep practicing the launches, you should be able to at LEAST get 2.3's which will have a huge impact on your ET.

Lately I've been pretty much having the oportunity to go to the track and practice to launch more then just race, this is a local 1/8 mile track though, but good to practice, I currently have blown front struts and I know I shouldn't be racing my car, but because I slip the clutch I get zero wheel hop, but If I drop the clutch even a little bit I get mad wheel hop, even my wipers go on, and the whole thing shakes really bad.

Anyhow... so far this has been my best time, runing 10PSI, and getting 43 counts of knock because of my lifters ticking like crazy (new ones on the way), and pretty much with only K&N and stock exhaust with cat and stock everything else:

R/T: .884 (wich Im not worrying about this one now)
60' ft 2.357
1/8 10.303
MPH 67.59 (68.72 tops)

I know this is no record times in any way, but my point is, the more you practice and learn to lauch, the better 60' ft, E.T.'s, and trap speeds you'll get.
