My goal for the summer is to hit high 13's i have a 98 gst. I have a 14b ported and polished, ported o2 housing, apexi 3"exhaust, injen intake, blitz bov, apexi avcr boost controller, i run about 15-16 psi or so because im afraid of fuel cut, Ill have my act 2100 installed next friday, i have 1.25" tnaumi ( cant spell) drop springs and tokico shocks. and i have a short throw shifter already as well

Any ideas on what i need other than this to hit my goals? i know i need UICP and i need a downpipe and a straight pipe. Know anyone hitting high 13's with the mods i have? My friend hits 14.5 in his 95gst with the same mods at me BUT hes only running 14psi and hes still on the T25 so i think the 14b would knock off half a second plus 2 psi higher? Any ideas? anyone doing this?

in doing about the same set up for this summer, but i also got a fuel pump, uicp and downpipe and a supra sidemount. I just got the downpipe on and it definetly helps i suggest you get it. also get a fuel pump and a another sidemount, a supra sidemount is a good investment. then turn that turbo up to 18 pounds. i don't see any reason for you not to be in the 13's, that's what im hoping for too.

yaeh i planned on getting my upper UICP and my downpipe and afc but instead my clutch took a crap so 300 bucks on a act2100 and my friends puttin it in for 125 so that took up that moeny..so i gotta wait a bit for the dp

I would also invest in some good tires if you dont already have some. Traction (60 ft times) is gonna depend on if you can hit high 13's on that set up. I would also get a fuel pump and leave it at 17 psi or tune for higher boost levels with race gas. With that, the SAFC (w/ pocketlogger), ic piping, clutch, and the downpipe, you should be able to hit mid 13's at least.

without Ic pipes youll never leave the 14s...well not without othe mods to compensate.

I would have to agree with DSMeclipse because the upper IC pipe right where it bends by the filter box is definatley a huge bottle neck in the system. if you check out 2g go faster pages you will find a $15 UIC pipe fix, it replaces that restrictive plastic segment with a 90* Radiator hose bend, I ran it for the longest time with no problems and you will definately see how restrivtive that IC pipe is once you remove it. I would say low 14's with no fuel upgrades possible high 13's if you are a real good driver.
