Well i went to the track yesterday....had a good night...started off slow in the 10.3 area....then went down to 10.001...then it started gettin colder and that helped out alot...so ill cut to it....the beset run i had was the following

This run would have abeen a 14.9.....the track does 1/8th and quarter...i was supposed to an 8th run....but it was quarter...i het off for about a half of a second nad added the 3 tenths...the guy i was racing was like...you should hof had better than that but you let off......i was kinda mad because that was gonna be my best run .......but just wanted to share the good news....my goal was to hit 9s...adn i did..
Now i want a even 9

and this was on 18x8 volk GTu with falken Ziex rubber normal PSI...
 
ok, You ran a 15 in the 1\4? but let off at the 1\8??? im confused. so you ran a 10 the next run? My god, you know ".........." doesnt count as a damn "."!!!!!

e usually races 1/8th mile trakcs, but he ran a quarter for this run and he did awesome, but he let off because he is not used to running 1/4's.

am i right?

so the 10 was in a 1/8 not a 1/4
 
no I think he thought that the race was only gonna be the 1/8th mile but it was really a 1/4??
 
15? damn man i hope u dont have more then an air filter under the hood.

Edit: i looked at ur mods. grant. even with 18s thats not good. turn the boost up a bit man. and get a logger so u can put that afc into use.
 
Maybe hes just going for looks? From the look of his sig those wheels look sick on his 2g :thumb:

ummi saw a stock 95 talon run a 14.5 in norwalk last week with a 16 yaer old drivin it..so i dunno u gotta change something
 
hmm...I run 12's all day long with 18's and pump on a 16G (and granny shifting), so the wheel size difference is minimal at best, FWIW.

Sounds like you got a little more tuning to do, and a LOT more practice driving it.

ps- just checked out your mod list- is all that on the stock T25? It's the FWD that's killing you more likely than not- I ran into the same problem with my 99 GST, street tires + FWD- high ET's with really good MPH. What was the MPH like on your runs?

Like 15.1 for a GST I believe, not sure about the spyder though, I think they're a little heavier. Like Allen Iverson said, "Practice, are we talikng about practice?", yes we are;)

as far as the last run that i did my best time...yes it was supposed to be a 1/8th mile run but they put it to 1/4 on accident.....thtas y my 8th was so good..adn Brad ill be home this weekend we can tune it on 22
 
ok heres the deal

I logged the other day....adn at like low rpm i was pulling like 5 or so degrees of timing
its getting dyno tuned this weekend....so i know theres alot of room for tuning...but the boost was incossisten about 13 psi all night....it was hooking great.....im just thinking with the low timing it might have somethign to do with it....adn its runnin pig rich.....after i get tuned i should do much better......and when i get my other mods it will be aweomse......hopefully getting a dnp manifold in 2 weeks LOL and hten an external dump o2 houseing

adn also im runnign a full show interior and a competition 10 and full show box setup....roughly 300 lbs
 
I ran 14.7 stock, full weight, with a passenger, two 10" subs, and a spare tire....... :rolleyes:
