Strong words, but looks like you have a strong setup to back it up. Good luck, and let us know how you do.

Regards,

Well sorry for the delay on the times, i will have a pic of the timeslip tomorrow, well i went to the track last saturday i wanted to mid 11's with my b16g i launched the car at 24psi the first time up and it spun like crazy i ended up with a 11.969@ 114mph, i let the car cool down and when i was going up for my 2nd run it started to pour down raining, they closed the track down. I was pissed i knew i would of had done alot better ####in rain pisses me off. My goal is still mid 11's with my b16g then i will upgrade till then wish me luck.

Going back up to the track tomorrow shooting for 11.6's without nitrous

If you can get a good launch down, I'm sure you'll hit 11.6 :thumb:

well guys the track had a stupid v8 days this weekend couldnt get to the track, if i nail my launch that record is mine u wait and see.

WTF is a 13g?:p
the gimpy stock automatic 1g turbo
^^I was being sarcastic, Sephroth57...;) See the little tongue whatchamacallit?
i ended up with a 11.969@ 114mph
That ETand MPH is DAMN respectable. My hunt for 11's begins this season too, if I don't make it with the B16G, I'll throw on a green, some 660's and a prayer!

Good job, keep us posted!:thumb:

Yes, please keep us posted. I also have a big 16G. My goal is to get into the 11's with it. I already hit 112 MPH last season, so the power isn't too far off.

I hit 118mph last season with my car and the Evo III 16G. But I can't get any traction. Our track isn't treated at all on street nights.

I ran 116.58mph last week, but traction was so bad that all I could pull off was a 12.6 with a 2.0 60-ft. :(

I am getting new tires next week, though. I'll be back to the track soon.

I'm having some real trouble controlling boost when I turn it up. I'm getting spikes to 30+psi when I turn the boost up to 23psi. I have a Hallman boost controller. Anyone else having similar issues?

I'm working on a new boost controller, which should hopefully solve the issue.

So, are you trying to be the fastest or the quickest 16G? If you want to be the fastest, you have to get past me first. ;) :p

I'm having similar problems with my B16G. I also have a Hallman boost controller, 34mm internal gate. I get a 29 psi spike before it settles to 25. I also have an extra spring pulling agaist the wastegate because the boost was falling off to 18 psi by 5k rpm. and I wonder why people keep telling me I need an external gate!

Shape,

118 is moving on motor with a 16G. I am impressed.

Regards,

Thanks. It is in a full weight 2G, too. New England Dragway's scales say it weighs 3150lbs, but I think it might read light by about 50lbs. So about 3315 to 3350lbs with me in it.

With any kind of luck I'll work out that spike and be able to turn the boost up more. The spike really induces a lot of knock.
