Hey guys,
So im new to this forum but ive been apart of a few other forums so i have a general idea of how they work. I believe im posting in the correct location for my area (586?)
Anyways
I bought my friends 1991 Eclipse GS turbo off of him because he moved to korea and his parents wanted it out of the driveway. they offered 500 for the car so i jumped at the chance. I had known that it had been sitting there for quite awhile, and was aware of it not starting, but honestly ive had worse car problems.
Basically, we jumped the battery and we got the motor to crank no problem. But i cannot for the life of me get spark to the engine. I know that the ECM's in these cars go bad like its their job, so i replaced it promptly. No spark. Attemped to track the problem down via Ohm/voltometer (I forget exactly
) and it pointed toward the coil pack being bad. Replaced that. no spark. replaced ignition module, no spark. even replaced the spark plugs just for shits, still no spark.

Would you guys have ANY idea on what to do? Mind you i did pull the ecm off of a talon at the local boneyard, but it was the similar of the gs turbo, so i believe its okay, and i opened it to check for cap leaks and their wasnt any.
Any help would be much appreciated friends.
