what mods if any are needed for a 6 bolt swap?

i have a 97 gst with the 7 bolt motor that is blown. i have a chance to get a 6 bolt but what is needed if anything to drop it in?

I believe Magnus has a very well written writeup on there site as well as RRE (road race engineering). If anything try searching 1g in a 2g or 6 bolt swap.

Get a late 98 or later block (Warsher or washer motor?) and use the stuff that you didnt break from your old motor.

The 99 has the split thrust bearing in it.

They don't have the walking problem. I was originally going to build the 95 7 bolt until I talked to JAM. I tried finding a 99 block but never had any luck so I decided to go 6 bolt.
