2.5'' inch exhast or 3''!??

ok well i have a 97 2g talon i was wondering what you would suggest. i 2.5 or 3" exhast catback.is a megan racing muffler a good bang for its buck.?

With turbo cars, bigger exhaust is always better. Go with the 3". You will not regret it.

3" from your down pipe all the way out the back. I have Buschurs 3" turbo back and its quiet until im wide open throttle then it sounds like a damn rocket. I dont think you will regret it.

i dint look at your profile but if your planing on putting on a bigger turbo, safe you money and go for the 3inch full turboback. i did and im not regretting it.

Megan Racing is a good brand for its price. However, you can find cheaper catbacks and downpipes on ebay.

Yup, I have a 3" Megan turboback and love it. Nice and throaty, but still quiet when just cruising around. Read through the threads posted above and decide from there, its all about what you want out of the car.

Yea go with the 3inch all the way back. I have the APEXi N1 system and I really love it. Sounds awesome all the time, but it wont draw any un-wanted looks. I really like how it sounds at idle. You can get an exhaust shop to do the same thing for alot less though. Lol

I mixed it up a little bit and went with a 2 and half downpipe with a 3in exhaust. went really nice. i like the throttle responce and turbo spool up. personal preference thats all. i personallly think my car ran better but thats just me. everycar is different.

Most will recommend the 3" system over anything smaller but it will cost about the same to buy an exhaust vs. just buying the bends and piping and the necessary parts such as the catalytic converter, flanges, resonator, and muffler.

Most places iv checked the 2.5" and 3" down pipes are the same price and the cat back are usally only $50 difference.

I also run a 2.5" DP with free flowing 3" straight back. I cant complain, having the cat removed also frees a lot up though.
