I own a 92 TSi, and also a sn95 Cobra so I get it from both ends! My roots are all American Muscle.

I'm glad to see you like the DSM better.

guys, how can you be this ignorant?
crankwalk was not very common, and it only happened to 95/96.
They get their bad name and rep from their white trash drivers... no maintenance, just beat on it all day.

think your facts are a little misguided. It was 95-99 that got crank walk. and it was common in 80% of the GST and GSX's in the 85,000 to 100,000 mile range. Essentially everyone that knows anything about crankwalk knows that the 2 gen 4g63t was a 6 bolt main and the 95-99 had a 7 thus causing the crankwalk due to an elongated mainbearing. i had a 99 gsx that ran forever. I had 650 AWHP reliably.
Wow! Talk about mis-information! Especially from someone that had a 99 GSX that ran reliably forever with 650 awhp.Hell, he even figured out why 80%
of the 7 bolts crankwalked! It's because we have an extra bolt on the main bearings that causes bearing elongation.
i used to have an account there too, I going to sign back up just to let these mustang guys know people have dynoed over 500whp and ran 10's all day on stock longblocks. They cant say our cars are unreliable when they dont even know them.

Wow I didnt know our cars came with forged internals.
hahah..ha. Some of those guys in there are fairly ignorant. If they took the time to actually see what are cars are capable of ( short of breakin down kinda often, which i dont mind at all) they would see a 2.0L power plant 4 cylinder v8 eater.
