I had a thread open but it was moved. In that thread I asked for easy and cheap hp. I already know I can get new headers , Intake and maybe a chip. Does anyone have any other ideas, And why do certain threads get moved.

Actually, first read the rules.
And making a new thread after the old one is moved is not a good idea.
 
i read the vfaq and tech upgrades but i wanted to see if theres something not listed or uncommon. but sorry mod.

I think I posted to your thread yesterday. Didnt you talk about all kinds of street racing with slow dodge avengers. Then asked how you can make cheap HP to beat them. I told you it was not allowed and they probably deleted it.

There is no such thing as cheap power, expecially on a N/A. If you want power, get all the bolt ons, fully build the motor with 12.1:1 pistons and largest cam. Then you will be making still less power than a stock turbo dsm.

There's no secret to horsepower.
Just do a turbo swap, not too hard if you read up.
I'm planning to do one soon after I get a good kit together.

haha. you guys are awesome. im looking for an awd turbo 1g talon. i will never own another car thats not a dsm. and im thinking about making a test pipe. about how much hp could i gain? kinda funny, i recently got my car inspected and the guy was like "do u have a cat. con.?" it was basically a lick and stick.
 
To do it some what cheap but doing it right look around. Get the exhaust manifold, stock 14b, and ecu (eprom even better). Then save about $2500 and do the right bolt ons.

Like:
turbo back exhaust
injectors and pump
16g (small, big, evo3)
something to tune with(afc, one of the translators, link)
hard piping
boost gauge and wideband
either port or get better exhaust manifold

Under $3000 and you will prob be around mid 12's.

TEST PIPE. arround how much more hp if replaced with the cat?
 
do alot of people use them? around here you can get away with anything. litteraly LOL.
