I'm not one to hate on Subarus, but..

I respect all sorts of vehicle owners, i'll scoff at a dsmer just as easily as any, so dont assume this is the begining of a hate-thread.

x2 I'm kinda surprised at how shitty they sound, I've heard a few with exhausts that are nice and throaty almost v8 like that sound good, those just sounded like shit

I've always hated the sound of WRX's... I've heard ONE STi that managed to get a very smooth exhaust tone. I don't know how, as I know nothing about STi's, but it sounded good once the tone was smooth.

For boxer engine desigend in conjunction with Porsche, I can tell you that my Porsche sounds way better then that does. Damn they sound like crap.

I've always heard that the "STI sound" comes from the unequal length headers. if they put on equal length they smooth out

I agree. I've taken 3 WRXs @ only 8 psi.
Not to mention their trannys are like glass. So once you actually make some power, you can expect to drop a K or two just to replace it..

I can. Not that cool though. I get little flames. I must not be a badass. That's a sound that a Subaru makes when the motor has no compression because it is being backfired constantly.
