(don't mind the typo in the poll LOL)

I didn't make an event thread because I wanted to see how much interest there was first. We were planning to have another spring DSM/Mitsu meet for the upcoming year. This year we had it in a roped off parking lot at a park in Woodbridge Va. Basically a big meet-n-greet with some burgers and things off the grill.

This year we were thinking of either doing the same thing or have a dyno day/bbq/meet-n-greet at a shop in Manassas Va. We would be looking to hold this around the April time frame. This should be enough time to get our cars back together but still be within the "spring" season.

The dyno time will not be for tuning it would just be power pulls and in order to get it a the discounted rate we would need to have 10 people prepay for it atleast a week in advance. Then if we didn't have enough people the money would we refunded back in full. You would still be able to get it dyno'd but it would be at a higher rate and subject to availability. So let us know here what you'd like to do!

I am working very closely with two people at the moment to open up a new DSM/EVO/Subie shop between baltimore and DC. There are other meets being perpared and we plan to be open by the spring time. We have already purchased a dyno and are currently sourcing a definite shop location, We are interested in hosting events like this. If you are interested in changing the location, We would be more than happy to host a meet. You can PM me if you would like, Our website should be done by mid december, and we will be selling parts as well. Let me know.

Very interesting as that's right in my neck of the woods. It's probably too big and way to expensive, but you could look in to the wards auto center that has been closed down for nealy a decade now at the Laurel Mall.

Yeah i think we met before that at the Whitemarsh meet as well. Was it Miller Bros. Ford at Rt 40 near 29? I imagine rent for a dealership/large shop would be well over $4,000/month, good luck though!

I guess if you could rent a part of it than you would be good. I'm sure the whole dealership lot would be mega expensive. Hence the reason so many have gone out of business. Other than an in house dyno, what features will the shop have?

Id go to this, but it seems all the regions buzz died out for somereason ever since the last meet and trying to start the club.

Someone set up a club before but kinda was a buzzkill about it after I forgot to come to a meet LOL. Anyhow, I'm down to come but we need an email list or something because I don't check the forum every day and a lot of us might forget. I'll even give out a number to text to if needed.

Yeah i think it was a little "early" to try and start a club. With having a strong foundation (close-ish friends). It would crumble quickly. Though I have no doubt there ###### are small groups of 2 to 5 in the area. I guess i should have put this in the main part of the sub-forum for more exposure.

Look I'm in Annandale, VA. My email is [email protected] . If anyone in the area is cool and wants to hang out with a fellow DSMer just email me. I'm new to the area so I can't find my way around so easily. My email is as good as texting me because it goes straight to my phone.

Hey Ill be up for it Charles. Ive been away for the past few months, some things came up but I decided to visit this site to check on things. Im down for any meets bro, you got my full support. Later

I just moved to Gainesville which is right outside of Mannassas. My DSM is still in Pennsylvania, but I would be up for going to a meet. I need to meet some fellow DSM'ers in the area anyways.
