I need to get some block work done. I live in Colorado. I am building a 2.3 stroker. Have everything for it just need it installed. Have ARP mains, BSE kit, rods, pistons, crank. All 2.3 need a machine shop though. I have took alot to Jacks transmission an did great. I have my block there now and its been over a month and they haven't started it. What should i do? I have parts the cash to do the engine. Any help is great thanks :thumb:

Just an FYI, this thread should probably be in the regional forums or lounge. Not really tech section material.

But if any shop hasn't started a build after 1 month, I'd ask them for the parts back and take them somewhere else.

Have you called and asked what the hold up is?

Did you tell them to take there time? That you are in no hurry?

If you did, that would make it a back burner job. After all the rush work and I got to have it yesterday stuff is done.

i told them I need it done soon but not asap. And they said they will start on it in a week then it turned to two weeks. then now its been over a month and they havent even started they said. So i guess im going to go get it.

WES-393 have you ever took your parts to Geddes? I am just looking for a new shop now thanks
