posting this here because no one posting in "engine performance" has a clue on this topic (no replies in 3 days).

if you've switched to a 2g mas in your 1g:

did you just swap the far right (yellow/red) wire on the 2g plug to the empty pin (#5) and leave the far right(#8) empty and then solder in the right order (dsm.org install) to the 1g mas male plug that you broke off the mas itself? have you had any problems with it? what honeycombs did you take out? and what is your engine setup and s-afc settings if you have one?

i wired as i mentioned above and took out the side honeycombs. just looking for a heads-up on what to expect from it because the first start (for the car, period) should be this weekend.
 
Sean posted where the documentation is for that install. This isn't really an "extreme tuner" type question since it's covered in the VFAQ, and grammar/spelling are taken more seriously in this particular forum. Just letting you know.
