Ive been having issues with my car not reving past 3k rpm and did a compression test and got 130 for all 4. I though it was good untill i saw post on here with people getting like 170. So is 130 good or is it time for some rings and head gasket?

The service limit on that engine is 121 psi. Anything lower might result in bad head gasket, rings, cylinder wear, etc. the not revving Past 3k, to me sounds like a boost leak issue, or so I've noticed 20+ other cases that stated similar. Please perform a boost leak test, and it should help clear a distinguished path.

Make sure your compression tester is accurate. A cylinder leak down test is the best way to find out why you have low compression. But based off those numbers, it will likely need rings and hone as bare minimum.

Im doing a boost test tuesday, just want to get the ring first if it needed it. Thank you very much.

When you did this test, did you hold the throttle wide open? and Did you squirt any oil in the cyl's to see if it raised compression at all?

Your problem does sound boost leak related though.

130 is low but its all even across all 4 cylinders so as long as you have spark and fuel your car will rev up normally. Boost leak is possible and is the most likely cause, also check the throttle cable and the plate, I had a car that was reving between 4000-4800 and it turned out to be the throttle plate.

as for the low compression do a wet leak down test, see if its the rings because its 130 on all cylinders, which is normal ring wear on a 20year old car.

Also if you want do a leak down test to confirm, or to see if youe valves are leaking
