Does anyone know if 6 Bolt Straight-Cut Oil pump gears will work in a 1G 7Bolt oil pump/front cover? I have at my disposal the OEM 1G 7bolt helicals that I removed from my engine and a set of 6bolt helicals that appear to be identical in size. With this being said, I believe I can use a set of 6bolt straight cut gears in my 7bolt pump, but would like to hear it from someone that knows 100% for sure before I place my order for my parts. If anyone has a set of straight cuts and 1G 7bolt helicals at there disposal and would be willing to mic them to verify it for me I would greatly appreciate it. I plan on running a BSEK so I would rather have the straight cut gears to avoid any amount of side load on my pump housing/case. Any help/answers would be great! As soon as I get a clear answer ITS TIME TO SEE WHAT THIS STOCK 1G 7BOLT BLOCK CAN HANDLE! Thanks in advance!
