Wiseco 1400 HD's at 0.035"
sub 450whp power level

Ya but what are you running?

It is on the spec sheet.

But if I pulled my engine apart... I would not be shocked to find about .006-.008 PTW clearace after 320K miles No tune, not even a wideband, and boosting 20 on a T3 garrett

Should we assume everyone is measuring in inches, and that you in particular are using 4032 alloy pistons?

I would like to see the factory spec sheet posted for all the diffrent pistons used.

That way if a person bout a set of used or open box pistons the info would be here for easy refrance.

yes it is, she rattles in normal driving, hammer on her a bit, she quites up untill she cools down.

Im assuming its a 2300? I like those motors I can remember reading hot rod when I was in high school the quickest 4 cylinder on the power tour was a guy with a 2300 mustang running 9s or 10s.

I'm trying to open road race, hill climb, road race, street, and drag my car so I'm going to run everything loose to be safe.

.0045" PTW clearance with Wiseco 1400HD .040 over 8.5:1 stroker pistons. 93 octane fuel (no meth, no E85), 2.3L.

On the spec sheet Wiseco recommends a .0035" minimum PTW clearance with these pistons. I went with a .0045" PTW clearance since Dwayne at Wiseco recommended going with .0040" if you are running 25-30PSI and .0045" if you plan on running 30+PSI.

I have the Wiseco K571M855 (.020 over or 85.5MM) 8.8:1 compression stroker pistons @ .0035" PTW. The ring end gaps are .020" on top and .025" on bottom.

I'm hoping for around 375HP on my Evo3 16G / 91octance + meth cooling by next summer - 6 bolt stroker

Cp's 9.0:1 4tho clearance top ring 23tho bottom ring 27tho and going for 550whp.

Wiseco 2.4 9.8:1 HD 1400: 0.0045" PTW, ~450auto awhp @ 25psi, going 28-29psi until S256 is tapped then going to S259 billet or bat...

.006 weisco HD custom slugs.
E-85 Fuel
made 720HP @ 27 PSI
2.4 6-bolt stroker
8200 rpm

rings gaped to card specs per card (dont forget to add your PTW clearance in the calculation

motor is apart now (rod failure) bores look almost perfect. very little side loading piston skirts still look almost new.
