Hey everyone Jon from DSM Graveyard here,
I made this video the other day, grabbed the camera to show high spots and warpage. (sorry I look a wreck, it was a busy day
) Its a 420a head, but 4G63's, do the same thing, along with every aluminum head out there. Don't be foolish and toss one like this back on your lower end, its just gunna blow again
.
Also, you dont have to take it to us, there are bizillions of MACHINE SHOPS who will gladly resurface the head, usually anywhere from $50-$60 bucks
<object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/XaQ7Uox-krc?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/XaQ7Uox-krc?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object>
Thanks and Enjoy!!
