Will these adjustable cam gears work on my 95?

I have these Fidanza adjustable cam gears that I plan on using to finish up my cam install. However, since I have a 95, i am wondering if these gears have the copper trigger built it, like the stock intake cam gear does, so that it will work with my stock cam angle sensor. Both the fidanza gears look alike and there is no significant difference between the two. Also, the fidanza gears look similar to the stock intake cam as well. Some sites say that the cams gears will work, while some say that they wont. Does anyone know from personal experience if they will?

I am in the same dsm boat as you. 95 with the cam pick up on the intake gear. It looks like the fidanza is taped for the pick up mounting bolts on the back side similar to the stock gear. Are they threaded? Also do you have the part number on the gears? That may prove helpful to check if they will work on both exhaust and intake. I'm very interested in what you find out.

I have a set of AEM cam gears that already have the plate on them.

BTW they are for sale in the classifieds.

It looks like the holes are there and threaded for installation of the plate. See if the plate fits correctly.

yes the holes are threaded, but i did not realize that the plate on the stock intake cam comes off

I dont have the car or the gears here at the house, but when I go to work on it next I'll be sure to see if the plate fits properly.

Perfect fit! I have yet to install them and start the car, but there should be no reason why it should not run due to the gears.

The Fidanza Adjustable Cam Gears have worked fine on my 1995 GSX 7-bolt.
