Ok well I began having troubles with my 4G63T bottom end and finally said hell with it and bought a parts car. The car I bought however is a N/A. I know the 2 main differences in the 2 bottom ends are N/A has no oil squirters (which I dont use anyways so no big deal) and the N/A pistons are higher compression.

My question is does anybody know how much a stock 6bolt N/A bottom end can handle with new bearings obviously and ARP Rod bolts? My car is making just around 350hp..

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

The n/t cant take that much. However, just swap pistons and you should be good.

the only difference between the n/a block and the turbo block is the oil squiters as you mentioned and the pistons. turbo OEM pistons are semi forged. but the crank and the rods are exactly the same.

get some forged pistons up there and you can have room to grow with your current whp.

oh come to think of it, check out if the oil pump is the same. im not sure about that.
