hey if i swap just the CAS on a 96 motor that is going into a 99 gst it will work right. no need to swap the cams? i just left the 96 CAS unplugged, never removed it.

car has been running fine for ten miles now LOL just finished a swap and wondering if it will be alright?

It will work fine. 2g intake cams are the same. The 2ga intake cam GEARS is the only difference for the CAS pick up.

I'm assuming the 99 ECU is still in the car? Or you've inverted the CAS in Link or other EMS.
