Okay i bought a set of 2g pistons on 1g rods and when i was putting them in my engine i realized that one of the rods seemed to have some scratches in the rod cap then when i went to put the baring in it i noticed it had a little piece of tang still stuck in the groove of the rod cap. So i concluded it must have had a spun baring in it before. The rod nor the cap is blue or discolored. The new barings fit very firmly in the rod cap and the rod? Just like the others however the rod cap did slide tightly over the rod bolts. Then i spun the motor several revolutions and took the cap back off and all looked fine! What should i do now? Is it safe? It looks fine, i put it next to another rod cap from another engine and there was no differences? The motor spins well? What do you think?
