Will Evo 9 rods and pistons fit in my 96' 7 bolt?

I found a deal on some OEM evo 9 rods and pistons. Will these swap directly into my 96' 7 bolt w/ no modification? I found on another site, that had conflicting arguments on having to rotate the pistons 180* for valve clearance and that the wrist pins were offset 1mm. I also found a link that said the Evo 8's had forged steel rods, is it true for the 9's as well? Can anyone clear it up? Thx in advance!
