well here's the ? I started a new 4g63 2.0 build for the old conquest that my cousin has had sitting around for 5 years now. (with shot motor) the block i have has had 2 thousands of an inch decked from block and has had 3 thousands from the head milled. to get both perfectly flat. the ? is with that much removed from block and head is there going to be a piston to deck problem? we have not bought any internals yet. please help out with some do's and don'ts with this short block. i do have a set of eagle 150mm rods that i would like to use on this build. and most likely a set of ross pistons( hey my cousin is paying for the pistons so iam not going to argue with his choice) if there is a clearance issue, can a extra thick head gasket help? is there away to find out before a piston purchase.

note its a real low budget build. and most of the parts are going to be used except pistons,bearings,T/B stuff. is there a math formula to help me find out the rod to crank ratio? or would i have to do the clay test?
