Resolved Need Help porting the Oil Filter Housing Relief.

I cannot find any pics on how to port the Oil Relief, does anyone know where the turorial is or any additional information.

never heard of this before :confused: if this is for real would this have anything to do with helping to prevent blowing the o-ring that seals ## oil filter??? cause my buddies filter likes to do that.

It's for when your oil pressure gets too high in the upper rpms. This will happen from removing the balance shafts. Porting the relief lowers the pressure.

I saw one thread a while ago with pictures. I will try to find it for you.

How does this look to you guys?

Forgive my crappy camera, doesnt take good close up photos, doesnt take good far away photos either, in fact, I dont know what range it would take good photos ROFL

The only risk you run from being aggressive with it is grinding past the end of the valve. When you unscrew the valve and remove it, make a note of how far up it sits in the passage. Then you'll know how far you can grind.
 
finaly figured this out LOL, thanks blcknsp0ln. Other question is, would this valve have anything to do with no oil getting to the head?(i had a issue with no pressure and was woundering on my old engine)
