hey,
Can anyone identify if my new Front cover is REAL Top Line brand..??
I don´t wanna use something worst in brand as Top Line esp. when talk about oil pump..
VencaGSX/2G 95 AWD/new stuff for my build - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

That ebay seller was selling whole Top Line stuff..
link to it..
eBay Motors: 89-92 MITSUBISHI GALANT & TURBO 2.0L OIL PUMP 1G 4G63 (item 170166473358 end time Jun-02-08 18:56:59 PDT)

on the box came in is written OP MI6.. this part number found on MAP site..
Modern Automotive Performance  :: DSM  :: Engine Components and Cooling  :: Rebuild Components  :: Oil Pumps  :: Topline Oil Pump Assembly (DSM)
so should be okay...

THANKS
Venca

I'm can't say for sure from the pictures; does the actual pump have the OP MI-6 part number on it? My only concern would be the area that has been ground off in the DSCF0648.jpg picture; what was ground off and why? I have used Top Line part in the past, and the only parts I don't think were that good were thier piston rings.

THX for answer:)
that number OP MI-6 was written on box which comes in.. Iam not sure what was on cover...why someone ground it off...
Do you have pic of your cover..or do you have any letters on cover??
Thanks

I don't have any pics of one currently. The easiest way would be to compare the one currently on you car, to the other cover; they should both look the same.
