I figured this would be a common enough question, but I only found one other thread addressing it back in '04 and it was unresolved.
I am rebuilding my '96 gsx. I'm using a 7-bolt with Wiseco pistons and Eagle rods. I put in ARP main studs and when I tried to install the oil pan it wouldn't fit over at least two of them (on the flywheel side).
Is there a solution or did I install something incorrectly?
Thanks

The oil pan will need to be dented for clearance at the 2 studs closest to the rear cover.
This can be done by setting the oil pan on the assembled engine and hitting toward the
front cover with a dead-blow hammer until the oil pan bolt holes line up.
