What are the limitations of the stock oem keepers and valves?

I talked with forced performance and they said that others have run stock valves and keepers with dual springs, but I forgot to ask how high I could rev them. I am going to be running SuperTech Duals with TI retainers and FP2's.

Please no speculation only experiences with.

I have personally rev'd my single crower springs with stock valve keepers with to 9100 rpm. I had Ferrea 6000 comp series valves though, not stock valves. Just get Manley valve locks if your worried about that.....

Stock valves, keepers, retainers. Manley single springs. FP2X cams (accelerated ramp rate). 8500rpms revlimit. Daily driver for 2 years and 20 thousand miles.

The stock valves are very good from the factory. I've seen them go to 10K on several occasions. Not that you shouldn't overbuild something that could hole a piston, but 8-9K is just fine for stock hardware with a spring upgrade.

There is no limitation because of running stiffer/better springs. There is a momentum limitation. The duals allow more momentum or mass X acceleration. The lighter the mass the more acceleration (higher rpms) a valvetrain can handle. Your stock valvetrain with duals has been known to go to 9K repeatedly.
