is there any other transmission that will work with a FWD turbo 2nd gen?

the trannys for the FWD's are hard as sin to find!

Not that I am aware of. The best way to confirm this is to call a salvage yard that is pretty current and ask them. They can check on their computers to see if anything will cross. I keep an extra trans for my 1g just in case. It is the weak link.

I don't think there there are any other options, unlike the 2gnt that have neons, avengers, etc.. that they can get transmissions from.
