What springs and retainers with hks cams?

I am buying hks 272/272 cams, but what springs and retainers should i get? I am not looking to rev past 8k. i was looking at crower and brain crower theres a 50 dollar difference.

I would definately go with the BC cams and the BC retainers. The price is unbeatable and they perform awesome.

Both will work fine, I would imagine the BC are the cheeper of the two? I run the crowers & they work fine but if I was buying again & if they were the same price, I'd probably go BC as if I recall correctly I believe they have abit more seat pressure. Another option would be Manley.

I am going to chime in as well and say BC. Both products are quality as well as some others but why spend more money if you don't have to

Just to add, I've seen stock retainers and springs go to the stock rev limit fine w/ hks 272s. These were daily drivers. No reliability issues.

I like the Manleys. They seam to be working great for me.
