I have a set of 2g pistons and rods id like to put in my 91 6bolt block, (no i do not want to get my 1g rods machined for the 2g pistons) I would like to know if the rods will work with a 6 bolt crank.

You have 2 options. Get forged pistons which you would then have to modify (machine) the pistons to work with the floating wrist pin.

Get 1g rods and machine them the 1mm larger wrist pin to work with the 2g pistons.

because 7bolt rods don't work on a 6 bolt crank. ^ like he said, big end too narrow,

You could always buy forged rods and pistons as well.... but that is even more $$$
