OK you experts out ther I need you.
I replaced everything on my a/c yesterday. The issue is that when I went to replace the expansion valve it isn't the right one. I went to Big A, Advance, Autozone and NAPA. Every one came back with the same one. The one on the car (95 Talon) had an extra tube on it. It appears to be a pressure release. It goes from the pipe input side of the valve to the diaphram area. It is a tube so it isn't an additional temp connection. (See attached drawing)
My question is does anyone know what it is for and if I cut the tube off the old one and solder it closed and just put the one in everyone says it should be is there any danger to the system?
Please help out a slow old man.
