I couldn't find much useful info/pics for installing these, so thought Id share here.
These are Pro Street seats.
What I used: 1x1" square tubing, 3/16 x 1 1/4" flat stock, grade 8 5/16 hardware.

The flat stock I brought up in the front around 1.25" and around 2" in the back.
Once the rear straps were bolted to the seat with the square tubing in place, I just tack welded the front straps to the square in the car then pulled it out of the car to put some better weld on.
That's it - enjoy!

Nice Fab job. Are they comfortable seats? I've only heard good things, but not from anyone in the DSM world. Since you have the skills/tools, might not be a bad idea to make a bracket from the back of the seat to the cross tube (per Kirkey instructions). I'm not a fan of bent flat stock without gussets but it's thick and not high angle bends.

I recently bought a set of kirkey seats with brackets. They used chromoly tube to fab this bracket.

Are they comfortable seats?

They aren't bad at all. The shoulder straps are a bit low (Im 5'11"). I would think these would be more and more irritating the taller you were. I only have a few hours of seat time on them, but I haven't had any comfort issues thus far.

I'm not a fan of bent flat stock without gussets but it's thick and not high angle bends.

I was planning on doing gussets, then looked @ my recaro brackets: they are thinner metal with steeper bends on them with no gussets.
